Hari Krishnmoorthy is arguably one of the most promising Tabla & Mridangam players of the young generation. A very dedicated musician, Hari started his career as a Mridangist under the able guidance of the senior Mridangam artiste Shri. R. Vydyanathan .Gradually Hari’s musical horizon widened and his interest extended to the percussion music styles of Hindustani music. He mastered the basics of Tabla playing from Pt. Harilal, Pt. Manohar Keshkar and Pt. Bharathraj.  Currently, Hari Krishnamoorthy is pursuing his higher studies in Tabla under the guidance oh Tabla maestro Pt.Prafulla Athalye  . He has also made a mark as a leading percussionist in the Traditional Hindustani music circuit. . Now Hari is performing both Tabala and Mridangam in many musical gatherings in India and abroad with world famous musicians.
