If I were to pick students who have very good njaana( knowledge), talent and success, Sudheesh and Devki are two of very few I would select. They both possess a very nice balance with right elements of Sruthi , Laya and Njaana. Their ability to teach and interact with students is exemplary and the method of teaching is commandable. Sudheesh and Devki are students of Chembai Music college during the academic year 2003-07. They were talented, studious and very responsible students. Learning is a lifelong process and it is not limited by age, gender, class, creed... it is a journey beyond man-made parameters. It is just my good luck that i could come in touch with this vibrant couple and pursue my singing after a span of a decade. I was apprehensive, doubtful and uncertain... But when i started my classes with Mr Sudheesh ( much younger in age to me; but a guru is a guru) all that fear transformed to hope, and belief in myself... I am not here to give concerts or make a name in this field....this journey with Sudheeshji is always a divine and blissful experience.
His patience, commitment and passion have surprised me! He treats me no special... I am an obedient student ....
It is hard to come across such illustrious and committed gurus in the present day... Sudheeshji and his wife are an exception to this...
